Description
After a break of 30yrs the original members of " Sodom Hype ", Namely Reid, Nigel and Dave, happened by chance to meet at a " Wishbone Ash " gig. After all the catching up the subject of Daves 50th birthday was brought up. A buzz was in the air and the "30yr Itch " seed was sown. Mick Da'reef was brought in on rythym and Steve morgan on lead vocals. A couple of practices had taken place and it was clear to see that the band was much better than a 30 min birthday set. And, with that, a full set was constructed. The band stayed with this line up for about six months, until, after a band meeting which saw Steve leave, the band then turned to their present singer " Sid " who was an obvious replacement. And there we have it a brief history into " 30yr Itch ", a good time band, playing 70's classic rock like it should be played. Not playing the usual standards has set them a part from other bands, choosing instead to play a more obscure set. Available for all pubs, clubs, festivals and openings of state parliament.
