Waiting List to join gigall

For the time being Gigall is no longer accepting bands that want to join as Basic Members. Instead bands wanting to join gigall are being added to a queue, which is rapidly growing.
This is an unfortunate situation that has arisen because of bands that are still members and are no longer productive (no longer entering gigs onto our database).
Gradually we are deleting these bands when they reach a point where they have not updated there profile for at least 18 months. Gigall will be deleting several bands at the end of May. This will mean that bands at the top of our waiting list will be able to join. New Basic Member Bands will need to enter a gig within 60 minutes of joining. This policy, we hope, will also deter bands from using gigall as a band directory.
However, very soon we expect most new bands will be joining gigall as Full Members especially since we have entered into an arrangment with Dovetail Strings.
This new arrangement will allow guitarists to purchase strings at rediculously low prices. For example - instead of £6.99 for a set they will be able to purchase them at £1.99 a set. So, joining gigall as a Full Member will be a 'NO BRAINER".
