So...Why Join Gigall?
The answer to that question depends on your needs.
If you want to give your Band, Venue or Promotion company maximum exposure then you should join gigall.
Gigall is the only band website in the UK that is NOT protective about your email address and other contact details.

So...Why is that important?
We allow other band websites and link directories to scan gigall. The more times that your name is duplicated in other websites the more exposure you will recieve.
Some websites will not show any band or venue contact details. Instead they provide a form which you have to use to contact a band. For every band you want to contact you need to fill out a form!
What is the point in that?
If I was searching for a band I would want to collect all the email address and then contact them all at the same time.

Do This Simple Test
Gigall was created because I love to hear live music and I would want to know where GIGS are being performed by PUB BANDS.
Do yourselves a favour and place those 3 words
GIGS PUB BANDS
into any search engine and see where gigall is placed in the results.

Before we go into that question read what others have said about gigall...

"The more I explore the site, the more I realise what an awesome resource this is. It doesn't matter what style of music you play, we're all in the same boat - struggling to fight against cheesey DJ wannabes and dire karaoke. Good to know there are folk that still appreciate live music, and venues that want to put it on. Thank you so much!"

"A great site and manageable for most people which is always a good thing! I hope most are sensible as this could be a god-send for some bands that are struggling to get heard. Keep up the good work I hope it progresses well."

"easy to use. looks good and it works!"

"Got forwarded an email from our agent and came to look round and register. Looks good! We need more of this sort of thing for live acts - whether original or cover bands."

Below is a list of important features for Bands

Visability
Gigall is designed to make it easy for anyone to find you.
Take a look at our Band Search Page.
Visitors to Gigall can search for you in the following ways...
  • By Band Name
  • By First Letter of Band Name
  • By Keyword - within Band Name and/or Band Description
  • By Location
  • By Musical Genre
  • By MP3

Band Photo
You can upload a photograph or logo of your band.

Band Members Photos
You can upload up to 10 photographs of your band members.

Add Your Own Web Address
Having a link from gigall to your own website will help to improve your page rank.

MP3s
You can initially upload up to 3 mp3 tracks. Then later depending upon how many links to gigall you arrange, you can upload up to a maximum of 8 tracks.

Automatic Emailing Facility
You can build up a list of email addresses of your fans and supporters.
For every gig you enter into our database you can get gigall to email details of that gig to them.
You can even get gigall to email Newspapers that are local to where you are performing!

Gig Code Generator
Fed up with entering gig information on your own website and then having to enter all the same details on gigall?
Well, we have a solution to this problem called the Gig Code Generator.

What does the Gig Code Generator do?
You enter your gigs within gigall the normal way.
Then whilst you are 'logged in' navigate to the Gig Code Generator (within your main administration page) and start to design how you want your gigs to be displayed on your own website.
Once you are happy with your design click on the "Generate Code Preview" button and you will see HTML displayed within a code box.
All you need to do is paste this code within your own website then save it. Like magic all your gigs are displayed on your website for you automatically.
You only have to do this once (unless you want to revise your design).
Then every time you enter a new gig within our database the same gig details will also appear on your own webpages.
This means that you only have to enter your gigs once.

Bands can show YouTube videos on their own band pages within gigall
The amount of videos you can have is unrestricted

Venue Lists
Gigall has stored address details about 3515 Venues where bands have performed in the past.
As a registered band you can access this data and have it sent to you via email

So...Why Join Gigall?

The vast majority of Venues (especially Pubs) do not have websites
Usually they only exposure on the internet is via directories.
These directories do not give venues the flexibility to update their pages on a regular basis.
GIGALL GIVES EQUAL IMPORTANCE TO VENUES AS IT DOES TO BANDS

So...Why is that important?

We allow other band websites and link directories to scan gigall. The more times that your venue is duplicated in other websites the more exposure you will recieve.
Some websites will not show any venue email addresses. Instead they provide a form which you have to use to contact a venue. For every venue you want to contact you need to fill out a form!
Again...What is the point in that?
If I was searching for a venue I would want to collect all your email address and then contact you all at the same time.

Do I really need to register with gigall to add gigs and contact bands
No you don't...
But then you wouldn't get access to all the facilities that are listed below
