Originally formed in 2000 (when they were voted “Best Local Band” by the South Wales’ Blues Dragon Blues Club), this current line up of Ted Crook and the Blues Highway has been together since 2007. They have gigged extensively across the country playing a mixture of Chicago and West Coast blues supporting bands like Otis Grand, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Big Joe Turner’s Memphis Blues Caravan and Todd Sharpville along the way.
They have also played regularly at the Tenby Blues Festival (where in 2008 “They went down better than the headliners!!”), the Castlebar Blues Festival and at the Mumbles Jazz and Blues Festival. They are also proud of the fact that they have been voted “Best Overall Band - 2008” by the Borough Blues Club and “Best Live Session - 2008” on Radio Pembrokeshire.
