Introduction
We don't endure grand delusions of stardom. We're not rockstars nor are we a tribute band. Four regular guys who have our own take on the music we cover. What we do, we do for fun!
In their first year together as an unknown entity, Kneeslider have played to over 3000 people at their 25 live performances, which include the much sought after Colonial Bar in Horndean and a charity event at the Wedgewood Rooms Portsmouth. They have raised nearly £300 for their nominated charity, The Rowans Hospice, built their own award winning website and moreover, managed to secure a small local following with over 200 Facebook fans!
Formerly known as "THE BUTT SNOGGERZ" for a one night only gig, the guys were the in-house entertainment for the Portsdown Hill Bikers Christmas party in 2008.
The band as it is now consists of Andy, a director of his own engineering company smashing the skins; Jock, a psychiatric nurse thumpin' da bass; Harley, a safety glazing consultant strummin' his stuff on lead strings and Beanz, a branch manager wailing through the mic. Apart, they are the most unsuspecting "live band" candidates you could imagine. Together they are a rock/punk/pop covers band that enjoys entertaining.
