Objective

The main purpose of this site is to provide a contact platform for Bands, Performers and Pubs/Venues.
And to Promote Live Music in Pubs

How this Site came about
|
I appreciate Live Music and would rather sit in a pub and listen to a Live Band than put up with the "drudge" that
comes from a Jukebox.
Well, some time ago I asked our local landlady (Sharon Williams - Boars Head) if there was a Band playing on certain Friday Night.
She said, unhappily, that she wasn't able to find a band that was available.
I said "That's crazy, there must be loads of bands out there that would be 'itching' to perform here".
She said "If you know of such a band then ask them to get in touch!"
I am not a fan of Dating Agencies but I knew there was a 'hell of a load' of online Dating Agencies whose purpose was to match up Men with Women
(and other possible variations!!!).
I thought, why not do the same with Pubs and Bands?
Hence the creation of gigall.
