Introduction

HEAD GARDENERS are a four piece Rock/Ska outfit based in a world all of their own. They have been together for about 20 years … but can’t remember exactly how long.
Originally formed to escape the monotony of playing in standard cover bands, their motto is … “Fun first, music later” This probably explains their longevity and entertaining approach to live music. They have been described as more of a gentleman’s drinking club than a band.
All that aside, the GARDENERS are a highly entertaining and energetic band who play a mixture of original material and (alternative) covers, ranging from The Clash, Specials, Toots and the Maytals through to some Zappa (if another band does it, the GARDENERS wont).
Over the years they have played at many, many venues and events, more notably are: Brecon Jazz (and fringe), Ebbw Vale Garden Festival, Rock in the Dell, Bala Free (but illegal) Festival, and Glastonbury.
So, if you’re looking for an unpretentious, banter loving, fast paced band for your pub, party or event, you wouldn’t go far wrong with these boys. Go on … what’s the worse that could happen? (Apart from that!)

The HEAD GARDENERS are:

Martin Nevard; Vocals and Guitar abuse.
Mick Lewis; Guitar and Vocal abuse.
Roger Davies; Base, Choreography and Paperwork
Pete Davies; Percussion, Costumes and Timekeeping.
