Introduction
Facilities
We are a well established family business in the centre of Abertillery. Our facilities include an upstairs function room suitable for private parties. We have two lounges where meals are sold from noon daily between Tuesdays and Saturdays. Our bar is the only one in the town centre where all the top sporting events are screened and we also have an outside beer garden and smoking area open all year round. We serve the top brands of beer, cider and lager and we have a different guest real ale changed weekly.
To avoid disappointment we regret that we are unable to offer accomadation.
Entertainment
Live bands play the venue on Sunday evenings commencing at 19.30 with free admission. Although the bar is compact the majoirty of bands ask for return visits which we attribute to our faithful and knowledgeable customers.
We prefer mostly cover bands who are able to react with the audience. We prefer it when the gals are able to dance and the guys can see quality musicians. As long as everybody goes home contented the landlords a happy chappy.
